Four retiring staff members were presented with Golden Apples at the Board of Education meeting last evening to recognize their many years of service to the Watervliet Public School District. Board President Bill Spaulding and Superintendent Ric Seager represented the Board and the Administration, presenting the Golden Apples to the honorees.
Those recognized were:
Randy Bradford, Middle School Physical Education Teacher, 21 years
Dennis Sansom, Middle School Custodian, 26 year
Cathy Stants, Speach Pathologist, 21 years
Karla VonKoenig, Elementary School Teacher, 25 years
Ken Dietz, Athletic Director, 18 years. (not present)
The experience, commitment, and talent these individuals take with them will be missed in our classrooms, buildings, and athletic programs. We wish them all the best in whatever new challenges or adventures await them.
