Bond Proposal Improvements

A Plan to Address Aging Buildings is part of the 2025 bond proposal. Proposed projects include: Remodeling aging restrooms and improving ADA access, mechanical upgrades, water heater replacement. The last voter-approved bond was in 2014. Watervliet voters approved a bond proposal for infrastructure improvements to aging buildings to things such as roofs, boilers, and lighting. The 2014 bond program was Phase 1 of the Master Plan for district facilities, which was developed in 2010.

If approved, there is expected to be a zero mill net increase over the current bond millage rate, and it would provide approximately $13,500,000 for facility improvements to school buildings and sites. To learn more about the bond proposal, visit www.watervlietps.org
