Enhancing Learning Environments is a part of the 2025 bond proposal. Proposed projects include: Addition of STEAM classrooms for hands-on learning at the elementary schools. Cafeteria addition to expand access to physical education and large group instruction. New classroom space for W.A.Y. alternative education program.
STEAM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math. STEAM programs blend together those subject matters integrated into the curriculum through hands-on, engaging projects and activities. STEAM programs help students develop key skills: problem-solving, creativity, critical analysis, teamwork, independent thinking, initiative,communication, and digital literacy.
