Teachers don’t just work during school hours and often they don’t get summer off days. They arrive even before school begins and stay and take back work home.During the summer months, they do research and preparations for the upcoming academic year. As the teaching methods are changing rapidly, they need to focus on the existing and changing teaching methods. Typically, teachers enjoy working in groups and in collaboration with each other. It helps to bring out best ideas, new teaching methods and figure out learning strategies. TODAY is selfie with a teacher day! Take and email your selfie with a teacher to Ms. Powers so that we can share it out with all students! WEDNESDAY is dress like a teacher. Lets see your best collared shirt and tie like Mr. Grear, your pig tail buns like Mrs. Sibley, or your shorts, running shoes, and Michigan gear like Mr. Corkins! Seniors-a reminder that this Friday is Decision Day at 10 am in the auditorium. All seniors are asked to wear gear to the place they are headed next year. If you need a shirt, see Mrs. Tyler. At this time we ask you to stand. The privilege of this day was made possible by those who have fought and continue to fight for the freedoms that we enjoy. Let us respect and honor their efforts by standing, placing our hands on our hearts, and reciting the pledge of allegiance. If you are wearing a hat, please remove it. I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
