I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. Boys Varsity Soccer falls to ranked Kalamazoo Christian 2 - 5. The Watervliet Boy’s Team traveled away to ranked K. Christian this past Wednesday evening. The team was facing some injuries and had to make adjustments in the lineup.
In the first half, both teams battled each other in the midfield and weren't really allowing each other to have clear position of the ball. The home team would get a goal in halfway through the half to take the lead.
The second half was played the same way. K.Christian would score again, but despite going two goals down, the team would rallied up and come back to tie the game with goals from Braydon Collins and JT Isbrecht. With the score tied the Panthers continued to push forward in attack, unfortunately with too many players committed in the attack the team struggled to get back into formation and the home team were able to get themselves ahead in the scoreboard with 10 minutes left in the game. In the end the game would finish 5-2 in favor of the home team.
