YOUR JUNIOR NOVEMBER 2023 STUDENT OF THE MONTH--TANNER VANNIEL!
My mom is a Chemistry teacher and my father works at a chemical plant. My brother is going to a trade school.
Mr. Andrews is my favorite teacher because I can really understand what we are doing in his class and he is a great speaker.
US history in Depth is my favorite class because it is always fun to learn about history.
I like to relax and play video games in my free time.
After high school I plan to get a job and live life.
I am proud to live in this community because we help one another we understand each other and we live together.
YOUR SENIOR NOVEMBER 2023 Student of the Month--ALEX HICKS!
I have a pretty big family, consisting of 3 little sisters along with my parents. Willow, my oldest sister, is the smartest cookie there is. Then we have Lennon, she is definitely more of an athlete of a girl. Then Taylor, well she's still just a baby.
My favorite Teacher this year has been Mrs. Fletcher. She teaches in a perfect style for me to actually learn and grow as a person. She's always there for you outside of the classroom as well.
My favorite class so far this year has been Yearbook. I really enjoy going to events and snapping pictures of my classmates.
I'm a Varsity Baseball and Soccer player when it comes to sports, and I am a part of the National Honor Society outside of that.
In my free time I like to hang out with friends as much as possible before we graduate. If I'm not with friends though I'm probably in the gym or playing video games.
After High School I plan to go on to play college baseball and study pre-physical therapy wherever I choose to go.
I'm proud to be a panther because the community and people here are amazing. I transferred into here my sophomore year and I was welcomed with open arms by some of the best friends and staff I've ever met. I love the town and the people here, and being a Panther was one of the best choices I've ever made.
Awesome things are happening at WHS! Check it out in this week's parent newsletter!
